Grantee Hangout
In May 2021, Elliot and I hosted this event with Andy (creator of Skittish), to bring together grantees of Grant for the Web. Elliot and I co-designed the event banner and Skittish event space for the Grantee Hangout, as part of our efforts in The Akita Project.
We leveraged "Channel Zones" to create breakout rooms for discussion on the grant project experience and all things Web Monetization. I created banners which were displayed on the “Video Screens” with each zone topic.

Grant for the Web Community Demo Party
Grant for the Web hosted a demo party in July 2021 for the grantee cohort to show off their projects. I created the event banner, the “Channel Zone” posters and the virtual space.
The Web Monetization and Grant for the Web logos were recreated in the space using grass and flowers, and I developed themed areas for grantees to peruse with their favourite Skittish animal.
